It has been tested and approved for use in high-risk areas, such as sections of mines endangered by fire, damp or combustible dust. In addition, it has been approved for use in areas in which explosive atmospheres, caused by mixtures of air and gases, vapours or mists or by air/dust mixtures, are present. Features include a sturdy, flexible probe tip and 2,000-hour battery life. This durable thermometer measures temperatures ranging from minus 40C to plus 200C (-40F to +392F).
