The CartCaddyLite battery-powered mover, made by DJ Products, takes the strain out of manually moving heavy carts and wheeled equipment. Designed to push or pull carts up to 2,000 lb that would be moved by one person, this small and manoeuvrable electric tug can move such cart types as maintenance carts; parts carts; heavy window, glass and door carts; dollies; and hand trucks, even in tight spaces. Typical applications include moving heavy wiener and deli carts at meat packing plants, and delivering parts to manufacturing cells. They are custom-configured for each individual application. Two 12-V batteries provide six hours of continuous use. An ergonomic, variable-speed twist grip allows forward and reverse travel from 0 mph to 3 mph. Features include a safety stop switch and spring hitch option. After the optional arm is attached to the cart, the tug can pivot 180 degrees under the arm, allowing the load to be turned a full 90 degrees without jack-knifing.
