Designed to provide early warning of bearing and gear faults, Tekne’s bearing fault monitor detects high-frequency impacting associated with spalling, cracking and lubrication problems in industrial and mining, petrochemical, and water treatment applications. The monitor provides two vibration output signals. These are the raw voltage signals generated by the accelerometer, and a signal, logarithmically scaled to 4 mA to 20 mA, which is proportional to the high-frequency, captured peak acceleration. This signal interfaces with a Schneider Electric Magelis XBT-GT HMI to provide a bearing fault alarm condition. The monitor can be customized to meet specific application requirements. Tekne
