Ruland offers a full range of smooth-bore shaft collars in 316 stainless steel to prevent corrosion in extreme wet or harsh environments. Resistant to water and many commercial-grade chemicals, such as chlorine and some acids, the shaft collars are suitable for washdown use in food processing and marine applications. They are available in one-and two-piece clamp-style designs with bore sizes from 3 mm to 50 mm and from 1/8 in. to 2 in. Also offered are type 303 and plastic shaft collars to resist milder corrosion. The plastic collars are made from acetal and offer similar surface protection to 303 stainless steel.
