This week, two additional industry leaders Doug Johnson, Vice President of Technology Policy, Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)®, and Michael Chambliss, Technologist, International Cinematographers Guild/IATSE Local 600 have both joined the Drone World Expo Advisory Board to help set the direction for this industry leading event.

“Excitement is building in the industry as we prepare for the inaugural Drone World Expo to open in less than two weeks and we are thrilled to welcome both Doug and Michael to our Advisory Board and to be offering such an exciting educational program,” said Joel Davis, CEO of JD Events, producer of Drone World Expo. “Our goal was to assemble an Advisory Board that represented the entire commercial drone ecosystem and to build a conference program that positioned Drone World Expo as the industry’s thought leadership event, we are looking forward to bringing this goal to fruition in San Jose starting on November 17th.”

The Look for Funding? panel will feature some prominent drone investors in Silicon Valley, including Moderator Max Motschwiller, Meritech Capital; and panelists Jonathan Downey, Airware, Commercial Drone Fund; Gareth Keane, Qualcomm Ventures; and Viraj Tipnis, DJI-Accel SkyFund.
