(TAIS), a subsidiary of Toshiba Corporation, today announced it has been awarded with a Red Dot Award for product design for two of its products, the Toshiba Chromebook 2 and the Portégé® Z20t. As one of the world’s largest and most distinguished design competitions, this annual and international award recognizes an elite subset of innovative companies that developed products with distinguished design qualities unlike any other in the category. The Red Dot is a quality seal for good design and innovations, which constitutes and highlights the quality difference globally.

The 2015 Red Dot Award winners are decided by the Red Dot jury, a panel of designers, respected design professors and specialist journalists from 25 countries.
