The Weitz Company Starts Construction at the Volkswagen Chattanooga East Warehouse Expansion

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.

The Weitz Company, a national design and construction firm, is readying the East Warehouse Expansion for Volkswagen Group of America, Chattanooga Operations, LLC in Chattanooga, Tenn.

The design-build project is a 322,000 square foot expansion to the existing assembly plant, including approximately 297,000 square feet of traditional warehousing space and 25,000 square feet of high-bay space.

Partnering with Epstein Global for design services, Weitz will coordinate all planning, design and construction for the project.

Completion of the Volkswagen Chattanooga East Warehouse Expansion is planned for Spring of 2016. The Weitz Company continues to actively pursue and grow its presence in the automotive manufacturing market.
