Co-hosted by Jiangsu Association of Petroleum Equipment, Shanghai Petroleum Society, Petroleum & Equipment Journal, and the Organizing Committee of cippe, and organized by Beijing Zhenwei Exhibition Co., Ltd., the Exhibition, with an exhibition area of 38,000m2, is expected to attract over 500 exhibitors from all over the world and a total of 4,000 visitors. Meanwhile, the Forum will gather more than 1,000 participants, including leaders from petrochemical enterprises, governments and industry societies, university professors and relevant service suppliers and traders, to discuss a wide range of topics including oil & gas investment and new equipment technologies, petrochemical development and trends, equipment repairing and lubricating oil technology, LNG technology, IT & smart plant, green chemical & eco-friendly industry, as well as the chemical industry in the Internet+ era, which may provide new perspectives to leverage “strategic emerging industries” to transform China’s petrochemical industry into a sustainable business, and bring Chinese petrochemical enterprises to the global arena. In addition, visitors may also find solutions and practices of petrochemical technology applications from special lectures given by exhibitors during the conference.

The Exhibition aims to build a platform for enterprises to showcase and share new technologies and equipment, promote integration across different professional fields, and accelerate the research-to-application process. This year, exhibitors including Exxon Mobil, HBP, Shenkai, Baoshan Iron & Steel, Ruichang Petrochemical Equipment, and Oilfield Chemical Alliance of China will showcase their latest technologies and equipment. Meanwhile, a number of downstream companies in the emerging smart chemical industry will also present their cutting-edge manufacturing processes and systematic solutions covering fine chemicals, pump valves, smart logging devices, cleaning equipment, water treatment, anti-explosion system, fire robot, etc.

China’s new initiative ‘One Belt and One Road’ is likely to thaw the ice that has chilled the chemical industry in the coming three years. It may also create great opportunities for many Chinese petroleum and petrochemical companies to expand their business, for some economies along “One Belt and One Road” that are rich in oil resources may lack the required processing ability. It is estimated that from 2012 to 2018, China’s demand for petrochemical products will maintain an average annual growth rate of 6.7%, and there will be a transformation among petroleum and petrochemical enterprises towards an intelligent, green and modern service manufacturing. The stable domestic development and growing demand will bring huge business opportunities to the whole petroleum and petrochemical industries.
