Strategic contract with SAAB to supply advanced fiber optical sensors

Proximion AB, announces that it has been selected as the supplier of distributed fiber optical sensors for advanced optical measurements by SAAB. Product deliveries will commence in 2017.

During the second half of this year and the next year Proximion, in close cooperation with SAAB and Acreo Swedish ICT, will develop, qualify and arrange for serial production of the customized fiber optical sensors. All sensors are based on Proximion’s proprietary technology for design and production of Fiber Bragg Gratings (FBG).
