State of Alabama Recognizes Cintas Location in Tuscaloosa for Superior Achievement in Workplace Safety

TUSCALOOSA, Ala.
Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) today announced that its rental location in Tuscaloosa, AL. received the Workplace Safety Award of Superior Achievement from the State of Alabama. The award recognizes Cintas for continuous operation without a lost time injury for two consecutive years.
Fitzgerald Washington, Commissioner from the Alabama Department of Labor was on hand to present the award. He talked about the importance of safety in the workplace and commended the employee-partners for their achievement. “I was particularly impressed with the family environment exhibited by the Cintas staff,” said Commissioner Washington. “To reach this accomplishment, demonstrates a strong commitment of making employee safety a priority and for that you and your staff are deserving of this award.”
Cintas has had a presence in the Tuscaloosa market since 1989 when they acquired Rental Uniform Supply Inc., which was founded by the Mullins family in 1966. The location was completely destroyed by the 2011 tornado and rebuilt in 2013. Today, the Tuscaloosa operation employees 47 people and services over 2,000 customers.
