SPEEA and IAM 751, which represent more than 50,000 employees at The Boeing Company, along with state Rep. June Robinson (D-Everett), are holding a press conference at 2 p.m., Monday (Nov. 9), to make a significant announcement regarding accountability for the $8.7 billion tax break extension to the state’s aerospace industry.
The press conference takes place at the Seattle IAM District 751 Hall, 9125 15th Place S., Seattle, WA 98108.
The announcement brings together union leaders, members, and a number of current and laid off employees impacted by Boeing’s actions since the aerospace tax preference bill was approved in November 2013 to “maintain and grow its workforce within the state.”
