SMK Electronics to Demo Advanced HMI Solutions & External Auto Camera Modules at Display Week 2015

SMK Electronics’ family of advanced in-dash touch panels includes innovative ‘Multi-Touch’ displays offering multi-point touch detection and pinch control operations, new capacitive displays that provide ‘Tactile Feedback’ to the user, and ‘Touch-Less’ panel displays utilizing SMK’s proprietary ‘Proximity & Hover’ sensing technology.

Additionally, SMK will showcase its family of 1-Megapixel CMOS automotive camera modules. Producing non-compressed digital streaming @ 30fps over a wide range of viewing angles, they feature water-repellent antifouling lens coatings to reduce grime accumulation while enhancing performance. Requiring minimal mechanical footprints, SMK’s IP67-rated camera modules are specifically designed for auto rearview, front-view and side-mirror system integration.
