Smithers Rapra Traction Summit 2016 Dates Announced

Smithers Rapra is pleased to announce the dates and location for its tire technology conference Traction Summit 2016 (http://www.tractionsummit.com/). The international event will take place May 25 – 27 at the Omni Fort Worth in Fort Worth, Texas. The Traction 2016: Driving the Tire Industry Forward event shines for its ability to leverage Smithers Rapra’s significant rubber testing heritage, market knowledge and industry contacts to unite the entire tire supply chain.

The Traction Summit program, soon to debut, has been crafted to help tire companies and OEMs balance innovation, regulatory requirements and cost concerns with consumer perception and demand. Key conference topics include autonomous vehicles, tire modeling, tire testing, intelligent tires, market trends, and an examination of tire import/export issues.

Curated by an expert Advisory Board, with early sponsorship support from ExxonMobil, the Traction Summit program will offer unparalleled access to industry leaders, invite-only speakers and an attendee roster that is uncommon among the typical tire conference experience.
