SHI Awarded 2 NASA SEWP V Contracts

SHI International Corp., one of North America’s top 15 largest IT solutions providers, has been awarded two NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V federal buying contracts for groups A and D. These new contract vehicles will allow SHI to pursue business with federal government customers, including approved system integrators, around computer-based systems and networking, software, computer security tools, and video and conference tools.

“The SEWP V contracts give us permission to offer another purchasing vehicle to our federal government customers,” said Thai Lee, President and CEO of SHI International Corp. “Under SEWP, we can pursue opportunities to sell products at fixed pricing to all federal agencies and their contractors for specific high-end, larger requests.”

NASA notes that “SEWP V contracts streamline the process of providing federal agencies with state-of-the-art tablets, desktops, and servers; IT peripherals; network equipment; storage systems; security tools; software products; cloud-based services; video conferencing systems and other IT and audio-visual products; as well as related services such as installation, training, and maintenance.”

The contracts are firm-fixed-price and last 10 years, with a per-contract maximum of $20 billion. SEWP V officially began on May 1, 2015.
