SAIC Awarded $757 Million Systems and Computer Resources Support Task Order

MCLEAN, Va.

Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE:SAIC) was awarded a task order increase to its Systems and Computer Resources Support (SCRS) contract with the U.S. Army Contracting Command – Redstone to provide a variety of systems engineering and software development services for the Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), Software Engineering Directorate (SED). The single-award, fixed-price level of effort task order, awarded under the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Expedited Professional & Engineering Support Services (EXPRESS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), has a one year ordering period, a two-year period of performance, and an estimated contract value of approximately $757 million. Work will be performed primarily at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.

AMRDEC provides and sustains world-class aviation and missile systems to the joint warfighter, supporting national security and defense strategies today and in the future. Under this task order, SAIC will perform life cycle systems and software engineering support to ensure that the Army receives the latest technology and equipment needed for mission success.
