Richardson Electronics, Ltd. and Ioxus, Inc. Sign Global Distribution Agreement

Richardson Electronics, Ltd. (NASDAQ: RELL) announced today a new global distribution agreement with Ioxus, Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-performance ultracapacitor technology headquartered in Oneonta, NY. The agreement supports Ioxus’ efforts to increase market awareness and market share of its latest products and innovative technology.

Ioxus manufactures iCAP® ultracapacitors, iMOD® modules, and THiNCAP® pouch cells and modules that are optimized for the highest energy and power density. Ioxus recently launched their leading edge 85º Titan™ ultracapacitor product line and the new industry changing line of 22 iMOD X-Series® ultracapacitor modules. The 22 X-Series modules allow customers to quickly integrate ultracaps into their application with little development cost or design lead time. Ioxus ultracapacitor cells and modules serve the automotive, hybrid bus, wind turbine pitch control, micro grid, UPS and industrial markets.
