Building off the success of the 2015 event, the 2016 Quantum Dots Forum will provide an atmosphere for the lighting and display industry to explore market opportunities, technological development and environmental issues concerning quantum dots. Over 100 professionals are expected at the conference.
“With the expanding quantum dots market and the exponential growth projected over the next five years, the 2016 conference will provide a timely gathering of leaders in the quantum dots field,” said DeAna Morgan, Conference Producer at Smithers Apex. “We have shaped the program to address the path for application given the cost, accuracy and how these factors stack up against those of similar technologies.”
Quantum Dots Forum will kick off with insights into the quantum dot display and lighting market forecasts from Touch Display Research, Inc., followed by presentations on quantum dot makers and alternatives for displays by QD Vision, Inc.; UBiQD, LLC; and Nanosys. Companies like 3M Optical Systems Division and Merck KGaA will focus on the voice of quantum dot component manufacturers. Other applications of quantum dots by NanoPhotonica, Inc.; Tsinghua University and the University of Colorado will conclude the program.
Key players such as 3M Optical; Applied Materials; Corning; Cytec Industries; Nanoco Technologies; Nanosys; Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology; University California Berkeley and others attended in 2015.
