Preview Cars and Bid Online at IronPlanet for Upcoming Leake Auction Company Tulsa Collector Car Event June 10 – 12

PLEASANTON, Calif. & TULSA, Okla.

IronPlanet, a leading online marketplace for selling and buying used equipment and other durable assets, and Leake Auction Company, one of the first car auctions in the country, announced today that IronPlanet’s live auction technology will provide online bidding capability for Leake’s upcoming Collector Car Auction taking place in Tulsa, OK, June 10-12.

The Tulsa Collector Car Auction features more than 700 automobiles manufactured from as early as 1915 through 2016. Through IronPlanet, Leake is able to offer bidders the opportunity to preview the cars for sale online, place pre-bids prior to the auction, and follow the auction and bid in real-time on www.ironplanet.com during the auction days.

The Tulsa Collector Car auction follows on a successful February 2016 event where IronPlanet jointly marketed Leake’s auction, which featured 40 Corvettes from classic car collector and renowned Corvette aficionado Tom Falbo.

  • 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz (without reserve) – Rebuilt 365 CI/325 HP OHV V-8 engine and 4-speed hydra-matic automatic transmission. It is equipped with factory air conditioning, heat, power windows and convertible top. The parade boot is painted to match the Elysian Green exterior.
  • 2006 Ford GT – 5.4L supercharged DOHC V-8 engine with 6-speed manual transmission, Ebony leather interior, and all 4 options: McIntosh AM/FM radio with CD player, BBS lightweight forged aluminum wheels, Grey painted brake calipers and Painted racing stripes.
  • 1959 Porsche 356A Convertible D – Numbers matching 1600 S 4 cylinder engine with 4-speed manual transmission. This very rare, one year only, model was acquired from single-family ownership and includes a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. Only 1,500 miles since restoration.
  • 1968 Ford Shelby GT500 KR Convertible – Powerful 4V 428 CI V-8 engine with 4-speed manual transmission and Hurst shifter. Just over 5,000 miles since complete restoration. This gorgeous piece of automotive history was special ordered on May 1, 1968 and built in the Metuchen plant on July 26, 1968.
  • 1941 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Sedan – 346 CI L-Head V-8 engine with 3-speed manual transmission and Independent front suspension with coil springs. This CCCA Classic was owned by same family for over 50 years and is a great touring car.

Auction Details

The auction is being held at The River Spirit Expo within the Tulsa Fairgrounds. Doors open 9:00 a.m. and the auction begins 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 10; 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11; and 11:00 a.m. Sunday, June 12. Admission to the auction is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and military with ID and $7 for children under 12.
