Premier Manufacturing Sourcing Solutions Event Set for Cleveland in Fall

August 18, 2015 | By Business Wire News

CLEVELAND

The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) will host the third annual Sourcing Solutions™ on October 1, 2015, at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown, in Cleveland, OH.

At this event, buyers and engineers from manufacturing companies conduct in-person meetings with suppliers that have been pre-screened to find the most competitive resources for their projects. Suppliers save the time and expense of identifying potential customers and travel because they meet in a single location with qualified buyers from all over the region who are directly involved in the purchase of contract manufacturing products and services.

“If you are a manufacturer or a supplier to the manufacturing sector in the region, there is no better place to get deals done than at Sourcing Solutions,” said Allison Grealis, PMA’s vice president of membership and association services. “Our goal is to expedite the process for both ends of the supply chain by arranging face-to-face meetings in one location and all in one day – think speed dating…for buyers and suppliers.”

At Sourcing Solutions, representatives from leading companies such as Autoliv, Bettcher Industries, GE Appliances, INOAC Interior Systems, Jergens, Keihin NA, KTH Parts Industries, Mills Products, Inc., MTD Products, Nissan Corporation, PriMed Instruments Inc., and Toyota Industrial Equipment will meet with a variety of OEM, Tier I and Tier II manufacturers. The event begins with bonus optional educational sessions to be held on September 30. Sourcing Solutions begins at 8:00 a.m. on October 1 and will also include networking opportunities and social events. Harry Moser, president of the Reshoring Initiative, will be the luncheon speaker.

PMA’s supporting partners for Sourcing Solutions include ISM Cleveland, Fabricating.com, Advanced Purchasing Dynamics, the Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council, Profit or Savings Enterprise and Women in Manufacturing.
