2015 Plex Impact Award Winners
- Leadership: American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM) was recognized for leading the automotive industry into the cloud. AAM implemented a new cloud ERP system across seven facilities to automate all operations in AAM’s metal-forming unit. Through access to real-time data and increased efficiency, the division achieved manufacturing output and improvement in inventory turns.
- Innovation: FloraCraft harnessed the cloud for innovation. The company revolutionized its business by capturing production data instantly to help guide decision making, meet changing demand and ensure on-time, accurate shipments. As a result, FloraCraft substantially increased revenues without increasing labor costs and earned the distinction of Walmart’s 2014 Supplier of the Year.
- Transformation: Accuride transformed its organization by modernizing its information and manufacturing execution systems across six of its nine operations.
