Pexco LLC, a leading North American specialty plastics manufacturer across Medical, Defense, and Industrial markets, has acquired Scientific Plastics Corporation of St. Paul, Minnesota. Scientific Plastics Corp. is a dual-certified ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 manufacturer of injection-molded plastics with extensive experience processing demanding engineering materials such as PEEK, Ultem®, polysulfone, polycarbonate, and many others.

This acquisition marks the second in the last month for Pexco, with the company having acquired Precision Extrusion, Inc., the medical extruder, in early December 2015.
