PerfectCLEAN® Microfiber Cloths Selected a Readers’ Choice Best Product in Cleaning Business Today Magazine

May 18, 2015 | By Business Wire News

CHICAGO

The PerfectCLEAN® line of microfiber products was named “Best of Cleaning Cloths” by readers of Cleaning Business Today (CBT) magazine in its May issue, which features the 2015 Best of Awards for Cleaning Products and Equipment.

“While microfiber in general dominated this category, readers voted PerfectCLEAN as the leading brand in microfiber,” wrote CBT’s editorial staff. “Huck towels followed as the second favorite, with terry, cotton and disposables trailing.”

George Clarke, CEO of UMF Corporation and the developer of PerfectCLEAN-branded products, said, “CBT readers are primarily cleaning business owners and operators and as such we’re especially grateful they’ve tapped their expertise and experience in choosing our PerfectCLEAN cloths as the best in its category.”

PerfectCLEAN cloths are a key component of a color-coded infection prevention system developed for, and used by, leading hospitals and hotels. PerfectCLEAN products are made with the highest concentration of micro-denier fiber and provides features that include:

  • The highest absorption capacity of any other material available
  • Patented construction and built-in antimicrobial protection
  • Color-coded and ORANGE is a registered trademark
  • Chlorine dye stability
  • Documented third-party laboratory testing supporting the “Trap & Remove” performance standard.

In service, the cloths, which are available in multiple colors and sizes, are typically used dry for dusting and damp – not wet – to clean-dry. They eliminate the need for most chemicals and remove everything found on surfaces from stove tops to painted walls; spot clean carpets and even remove candle wax residue from table tops.

The proprietary material used in products like the PerfectCLEAN All-Purpose Wiper has been converted into a wide range of high performance cleaning products to meet every challenge and application, according to Clarke. Additionally, these products have been designed to meet the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for Blood Borne Pathogens and can withstand the rigors of the healthcare commercial laundry.
