Parent Company of Daifuku North America Invests $75-Million in Material Handling Systems Research and Development

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill.

Daifuku North America Holding Company, the leading provider of material handling solutions, announced today that $2.5-billion parent company Daifuku Co Ltd. is investing $75-million in research and development this year to support material handling system advances.

Daifuku North America will detail company growth at ProMat 2015, the largest expo for manufacturing and supply chain professionals in North America, March 23-26. Daifuku North America includes Jervis B. Webb, Daifuku America Corporation, Elite Line Services (ELS) and Wynright, which specializes in providing intralogistics solutions that are helping some of the world’s largest and fastest-growing companies.

The companies will convene a news conference at 9am CT on March 23 in Booth 1013 to describe the advancements in automated material handling solutions for the supply chain and manufacturing industries. With the acquisition of Wynright in 2013, Daifuku North America is a total systems provider from start to finish, including engineering, consulting, integration, manufacturing, controls and software design, installation and service.
