June 25, 2015 | By Business Wire News

MELBOURNE, Fla.

Lighting Science Group Corporation (OTCQB: LSCG), a leading global manufacturer of LED lighting solutions, today announced comprehensive refreshes and redesigns across the company’s entire commercial product portfolio. Being rolled out in a phased approach beginning this quarter, this revamp will begin with the general availability and release of the new and improved value-based GP19 lamp.

“The GP19 lamp and value packs mark the start of the evolution of our commercial product line,” stated Pete Rumsey, EVP of Sales and Business Development for Lighting Science’s C&I Channel. “What began as a series of conversations grew into industry-driven products with innovative technologies to make them perfect for the commercial market. This GP19 is only the first of many next-generation products planned this quarter that will give customers everything and more of what they expect from an industry leader like Lighting Science. We are also aggressively seeking new agent and distributor partnerships in selected markets to grow with these great new product offerings.”

Following the GP19 Value Pack release, which was launched globally on June 22nd and received with great enthusiasm, Lighting Science plans to release numerous new products beginning in the next few weeks and continuing through the end of 2015 to completely refresh its commercial portfolio. A revolutionary T8 linear and a new Energy Star approved A19 will be hitting the market shortly. Later this year, innovative BR, PAR and MR families of products, a new sleek and streamlined Glimpse™ Advantage downlight, and several new, ground-breaking infrastructure LED offerings will follow in the third and fourth quarters of this year. Finally, Lighting Science’s unique and unrivaled Rhythm™ Series of biologically correct lighting solutions will expand dramatically by years’ end. Future press announcements will follow as these fresh state-of-the-art products come to market.

Ed Bednarcik, Lighting Science’s CEO, added, “Lighting Science has always placed great emphasis on our commercial channel, and to be able to refresh it with exciting new revolutionary products aligns with our goals of invigorating the marketplace with better products at a great price.
