The company will be showcasing the latest additions to its Sewfree line of products at Winter Outdoor Retailer 2016 taking place in Salt Lake City, UT January 7-10.

Bemis is dedicated to innovative Sewfree bonding solutions that encourage customizable designs for performance, intimates and luxury products. The new Rapid Reaction and High Visibility Sewfree collections were developed to continue to improve Bemis’ core products and define the company’s signature collections. Leading brands are now able to design and construct aesthetic and functional garments with a higher caliber of stretch, breathability and visibility.

Rapid Reaction Collection

Athletes strive to enhance their performance and continuously search out functional factors in sportswear to assist in this quest. Bemis’ Rapid Reaction collection activates functionality within the garment by responding to athletes’ personal body climates without limiting their movement.

DriSeam, Bemis’ latest generation of Seam Reinforcement Tape(SRT), is the first of its kind functional performance SRT that repels water and wicks away moisture to keep athletes cool and dry. The SRT is made of DriRelease, hydrophilic fibers that are water-absorbent and blended with hydrophobic fibers. This combination, patented by DriRelease, rapidly wicks moisture away from the skin, adds breathability to a garment and ensures eco-friendly, long-term performance.
FlowFlex is a lightweight, stretchable overlay film specifically engineered for performance fabric. FlowFlex integrates distinctive perforations into the film through a proprietary process, which creates airflow and moisture management capabilities. The result is a breathable yet uniquely aesthetic technology for functionality and is visually stimulating. FlowFlex can be laser-cut or die cut, which offers endless design possibilities.

High Visibility Collection

Bemis’s High Visibility collection provides optical stimulation through unique palettes of color and texture, an artistry trend that has become critical to the sportswear consumer.

Chromaflex Film, one of the highlights of the collection, adds high visibility that bends and creates dynamic color shifts as a garment moves. Designers can make a statement with Chromaflex to create a killer light-diffracting accent or as a fabric contrast in details and trims. Designers are able to add sheen to basic materials, improve core products and clearly define signature garments.
