NAJI Names New Chair and Vice Chair of Its Board of Directors

By PRN NewsWire

WASHINGTON, May 17, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The National Alliance for Jobs and Innovation (NAJI) is pleased to announce the appointment of the Honorable Nicole Y. Lamb-Hale as Chair of its Board of Directors. Roy Paulson will serve as Vice Chair.

In a career spanning both the private sector and public service, Ms. Lamb-Hale has been a staunch advocate for U.S. manufacturing and services industries at home and abroad. She is currently a Senior Vice President at Albright Stonebridge Group, a global commercial diplomacy and strategic advisory firm, and is the former Assistant Secretary for Manufacturing and Services in the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration.

“I am delighted to serve as Chair of the Board and excited to continue to help advance NAJI’s mission,” said Ms. Lamb-Hale. “We are on the front lines of the battle against IP theft and unfair competition. At every turn, we are working to level the playing field so that U.S. manufacturers and other businesses can thrive in the global marketplace.”

Roy Paulson, CEO of Paulson Manufacturing Corporation based in Temecula, California, will serve as Vice Chair. Born into a manufacturing company and learning the business from the ground up, Mr. Paulson’s experience includes all aspects of running and growing a family business. Specializing in safety and security products, Paulson exports to 80 countries and holds 16 utility and design patents with several patents pending in the fields of optics, mechanical designs and optical physics.

“I am excited to help keep a spotlight on the issue of IP theft and its serious impacts on American jobs and economic growth,” said Mr. Paulson. “Our country’s ability to create and keep good-paying manufacturing jobs is among the most crucial challenges we face. When competitors steal our IP, we not only lose jobs and reduce growth, we also discourage our innovators’ creative and entrepreneurial spirit. We simply cannot afford to allow such unfair competition to steal our future.”

Former NAJI Chairman Drew Greenblatt, President of Marlin Steel Wire in Maryland, has been named Chairman Emeritus. A leader in the American wire product industry and one of NAJI’s founders, Mr. Greenblatt has been outspoken about the dangers of IP theft for the manufacturing sector and has testified before the U.S. Senate and House on topics including small business, trade secrets, and trade and tax policy.

About NAJINAJI is a nonpartisan organization of concerned manufacturers, associations, academics and other businesses. We work together promote public policies that protect intellectual property (IP), including the Defend Trade Secrets Act, which was signed into law by President Obama on May 11, 2016. NAJI members are committed to ending unfair competition by stopping the theft of data, trade secrets, and other IP. For more information, visit
