Momentive Begins Operation of Plant Expansion

WATERFORD, N.Y.

Momentive Performance Materials Inc. (Momentive) has announced the start of operations at their expanded Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) plant in Leverkusen, Germany. Responding to growing demand for LSR, Momentive’s Chempark facility produces a diverse range of products to support their global customer base.

Momentive’s LSR is used for the production of high-performance molded articles for a broad range of industries including seals and connectors for the automotive industry, components and seals for the healthcare industry and insulators and cable accessories for high voltage applications.
