LRQA Receives Accreditation for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 from ANAB

HOUSTON

A leading provider of professional assurance services, LRQA has received accreditation from the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) for two key, globally recognized quality and environmental management system standards: ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.

ISO 9001:2015, published on September 15, 2015, represents the latest approach to establish requirements for organizations to implement a Quality Management System. This revision replaces the 2008 version of the standard.

ISO 14001:2015 was also published on September 15, and represents one of ISO’s most widely used standards to help organizations manage their environmental impacts and aspects. This revision was generated to respond to latest trends, including considerations for aspects related to the lifecycle of the product, and also to ensure ISO 14001 is compatible with other management system standards.

For ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, LRQA provides a complete range of services to help organisations transition to the revised standards. These include gap analysis, preliminary assessments, transition certification, and training packages that can all be tailored to suit the individual needs of the organisation.

LRQA’s ANAB accreditation follows the organization’s global accreditation for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 that was approved by UKAS on November 4, 2015.

LRQA can now issue ANAB-accredited certificates for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 and received accreditation on December 4, 2015. LRQA’s achievement is recognized on ANAB’s website at http://anab.org/programs/isoiec-17021/certification-bodies/transitions.
