LFK Engineering LLC Reinvents the Garage Storage Rack

Homeowners no longer have to climb a ladder to access items on a garage storage rack, which can be a dangerous and time-consuming task. The Auxx-Lift storage platform is lowered at the push of a button with a wireless remote, and the storage platform height, unlike a storage rack, can be adjusted instantly for greater convenience. “We all know the hassle of climbing a ladder and trying to get heavy items off a storage rack. It’s inconvenient and not really safe,” says Lutz Klooth, head-engineer, LFK Engineering LLC. The lift is powered by two powerful ½ horsepower motors that can store 400 lbs. of a user’s most frustrating clutter.

The Auxx-Lift stands out in a garage and adds décor to it, improving the look of garage. It has attractive silver finishes and shiny motors whose reflections seem to sparkle whenever they are turning and lowering or raising the platform.

“We wanted to create a motorized storage rack that is not only functional but also decorative. Whoever walks in a garage with an Auxx-Lift installed should be impressed by how well-designed, useful and shiny the system is,” says Lutz Klooth, head-engineer, LFK Engineering LLC.

After an initial successful citywide launch of the product, they decided to make the Auxx-Lift available on Kickstarter.com, a crowd-funding platform to raise money. Their goal is to raise $25,000. The 400 lbs. capacity unit comes with a free key-chain remote. So we’ll see if some people in the future won’t just have their garage door opener on their keychain but also a remote to their storage item lift.
