Larson Electronics Releases Visible/Ultraviolet Combination Paint Spray Booth LED Light Fixture

Larson Electronics has announced the release of a new explosion proof LED light fixture that combines one visible white light with a 365NM ultraviolet light. This popular four foot, two lamp light fixture is used for manufacturing and coating applications because of its T6 temperature rating and paint spray booth certification.

The EPL-48-2L-LED-VISUV is ideal for operators seeking top quality lighting that will reduce operating costs, improve lighting quality and reduce downtime incurred from frequent servicing intervals. This fixture is equipped with one of our specially designed 28 watt LEDT-series lamp which produces 3,500 lumens of visible white light and one lamp that produces 19,200 mW of ultraviolet intensity. The LED assembly is mounted within a tube constructed from extruded aluminum and a polycarbonate lens. The solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, and energy efficient light source over traditional fluorescent lighting. This fixture carries a T6 temperature rating and is approved for Class 1 Division 1 Groups C and D and Class 1 Division 2 Groups A, B, C, and D environments where flammable or combustible gases, vapors, dusts, and flying fibers exist or stand the potential to exist. This unit is universal voltage and operates on any voltage ranging from 120 volts AC to 277 volts AC. These fixtures are standard surface mounted via two swivel brackets. A pendant mount option is also available for those needing to suspend the fixture away from the ceiling surface.
