Larson Electronics Debuts LED Work Lights on FX’s Third Season of “The Strain”

Production crews for “The Strain” will be using Larson’s 40 watt high intensity led work light in episodes of the third season, as well as their 14 watt LED drop light. The high intensity LED work light offers high light output in a compact form, while providing a long lived alternative to a 250 watt metal halide. This light is equipped with a 200 lbs. grip magnetic base that allows it to be mounted to any metallic surface. This unit can be powered directly from a 120 volt AC power source and includes a 12’ cord terminated in a 5-15 straight blade plug. Larson’s 14 watt LED task light is constructed to be completely weather and impact resistant, making it durable enough to withstand drops, falls, and rough handling. Equipped with a two foot LED lamp and a two foot polycarbonate lens, this drop light is designed to operate at cooler temperatures than conventional incandescent and fluorescent lights. The 14 watt T8 style LED lamp produces 1,750 lumens of light, is equipped with a 25’ cord terminated in an optional cord cap, and can run on 120-277 volts AC.
