Kemira Selects OSIsoft for Obtaining Real-Time Operational Intelligence from Customers’ Sites

SAN LEANDRO, Calif.

Kemira announced today that they will incorporate OSIsoft’s real-time data infrastructure for enabling operational intelligence in their next generation KemConnect suite of tools to collect, manage and analyze the vast quantities of sensor data being generated by their customers in pulp & paper, oil & gas, mining and water treatment.

Kemira will use OSIsoft’s new Connected Services offering and PI System infrastructure to capture and connect customer’s sensor-based data to optimize chemicals in customers’ processes with greater accuracy and precision. OSIsoft’s new offering enables services companies to take advantage of the rapid expansion of sensors that customers are deploying within their operations and use the data generated to gain insights that will improve the competitiveness and value of their products and services.
