HTS Plans to Focus on DFW Market in 2016

January 25, 2016 | By Business Wire News

DALLAS

HTS, the largest independent commercial HVAC manufacturers’ representative in North America, plans to focus its investments on expansion in Dallas in 2016. Since 2010, HTS has seen significant success in the Dallas market and aims to move forward by investing 90 percent of 2016 investment funds into its growth in the area. The company will be increasing the size of all of its divisions in Dallas, including custom equipment, service and repair, parts, building automation systems, FIT building energy management and airside products.

In 2016, HTS plans to hire more than 20 new employees in the Dallas area, resulting in a 60 percent increase in local staff. Positions include service technicians, controls technicians, and a wide variety of sales representatives for mechanical, service, controls and parts divisions.

New leadership in the North Texas area is expected to help drive this growth. In November 2015, HTS announced Stephen Poles as sales manager in Dallas, and George Buckmaster as sales manager in Fort Worth. Poles possesses almost 20 years of experience in the HVAC industry, including holding executive level positions at Daikin, an industry-leading HVAC manufacturer represented by HTS. Buckmaster also has strong experience in the industry, including 10 years in the DFW market, and was one of the original members to open the HTS North Texas office in 2010.

The Dallas market provides unique opportunities for HTS by offering a strong, stable economy that draws in many business relocations, resulting in an explosion of growth while still allowing the city to remain an affordable place to live. HTS focuses on serving the wide variety of markets available in Dallas, such as healthcare, data centers, commercial office buildings, hospitality, K-12, and higher education, and wants to invest their growing business in a growing economy.

“The Dallas and Fort Worth commercial construction markets are among the very best in North America in terms of sustained growth over the last couple of years. With more businesses attracted to the area each year and several more announced recently, HTS is planning for continued growth in the market sector. We find ourselves in the enviable position of having to grow our team to continue providing our clients with the highest levels of customer support,” Poles said.
