HOYA Group PENTAX Medical launches Splash M-Knife, the new multi-functional ESD Device to achieve complete Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD herein after) with a single device. The new device will be demonstrated in the 89th Annual Meeting of The Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society (JGES) Congress to be held in Nagoya, Japan from May 29th through 31st, 2015.

Flexible endoscopes have been developed to be used in low invasive treatment procedures in combination with therapeutic devices. ESD is a procedure invented in Japan over 10 years ago and growing worldwide for its clinical and financial benefits contributing in early recovery, reduced complexities and costs.

Water-Jet Function
It enables additional injection without changing the device
