Grede Recognized by Meritor, Inc. with 2014 Supplier Partner Award

TROY, Mich.

Grede’s Novocast facility based in Monterrey, Mexico, was one of 16 North American companies to receive a 2014 Supplier Partner Award – Foundry Supplier of the Year from Meritor, Inc. (NYSE: MTOR) for achieving excellence in meeting Meritor’s objectives in the areas of quality, delivery, cost savings and innovation. Grede is the world’s largest independent ductile iron foundry and a leading provider of gray and specialty iron castings for transportation and industrial markets.

Meritor, a leading global supplier of drivetrain, mobility, braking and aftermarket solutions for commercial vehicle and industrial markets, recognized Grede and other top suppliers at an award ceremony Feb. 25 at Meritor headquarters in Troy, Michigan.
