Granite Named “Veterans Employer of the Year”

Granite Construction Incorporated (NYSE:GVA) announced today that it has been named 2015 “Veterans Employer of the Year” by the California Employer Advisory Council. This award recognizes Granite’s programs and policies in support of U.S. veterans in hiring and promotion, as well as employee retention, ongoing training, and benefits.

Granite actively recruits veterans by participation in programs such as Work for Warriors, Honor a Hero, and the California Employment Development Department Workforce Program.
