Georgia Bio to Present Lifetime Achievement Award to Norene Quinn

ATLANTA

Georgia Bio will honor long-time Georgia Bio association manager, Norene Quinn, at the Annual Georgia Bio Awards Dinner January 28. The award is presented to individuals who have performed an outstanding service and accomplishment spanning a career to Georgia Bio and the life sciences industry at-large.

Norene has brought energy, imagination and enthusiasm to the management of Georgia Bio for 18 years. First engaged by Georgia Bio in 1997, she helped rebuild membership and meeting attendance, stabilized revenue and brought much-needed structure to the operations of the Board of Directors and its committees. The level of her dedication has not wavered over the years as a key member of the leadership team responsible for Georgia Bio’s current stability and success.

“Norene has held a high level of commitment to the growth of Georgia Bio for over 25 years,” said Georgia Bio President & CEO Russell Allen. “Her tireless service to Georgia Bio as its executive director reflects her personal pride in the mission of the organization. Norene Quinn

Principal, Association Management Services

Norene Quinn is an Atlanta native. After having managed professional trade organizations for many years, Quinn founded Association Management Services (AMS) in 1982. AMS provides services beyond the association web site to enhance the membership experience. Quinn and a team of staff provide expert financial support, registration and on-site event support, daily interaction with association leaders, members and potential members. For over thirty years, AMS has enabled professional associations to enhance their image and expand their member services by providing a constant and professional point of contact. Norene and her husband, Jerome Quinn, reside in Candler Park in a 1910 building that also houses the suite of offices occupied by AMS as well as in Cashiers, NC in a log cabin on Lake Glenville.
