Gates Europe Completes Implementation of the Arkieva Supply Chain Software

Arkieva (www.arkieva.com), the designer and provider of the Arkieva suite of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) software tools for manufacturing companies, announced today the successful implementation of the Arkieva software solution for Gates Europe.

Until recently, the S&OP process was supported by a number of stand-alone applications and Excel spreadsheets. With the increasing complexity of the business and lack of integration between the tools, a new approach was required.

To further streamline and integrate the S&OP process Gates decided to work with Solventure, Arkieva’s channel partner in Europe, to implement an integrated S&OP tool for forecasting, demand planning, inventory optimization, supply planning, executive reporting, transactional data reporting and performance tracking.

Currently the Arkieva supply chain suite has been rolled out to all 7 plants and 4 distribution centers in Europe. With over 100 active users, the Arkieva S&OP solution has been widely adopted within the company.
