The 2015 Gasification Technologies Conference will highlight emerging gasification markets, provide the latest updates on global projects, and feature the most important trends in biomass and waste gasification.
The Gasification Technologies Council (GTC), the premier trade association and foremost authority on the gasification industry, released the preliminary conference program today. GTC is hosting the event October 11-14 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA.
The annual conference is the industry’s largest and most prestigious event — attracting speakers, participants and media from the Americas, Asia and Europe.
“We’re excited to be bringing the industry’s leaders and world’s foremost experts together at the conference,” said Alison Kerester, GTC’s Executive Director. “It’s the ideal place to network with key people and learn what’s impacting the industry.”
Dr. Yongwang Li, founder and president of Synfuels China Engineering Co., LTD, will be the conference’s keynote speaker. One of the world’s leading experts on coal-to-liquids technologies, Dr. Li will offer insights into China’s energy markets and his company’s technology.
In addition, Melissa Cook of African Sunrise Partners will detail Africa’s growing energy needs and how gasification may help there.
The conference program will focus on emerging gasification markets, such as Brazil, India, Indonesia and Korea. Experts also will provide updates on global projects and trends in biomass and waste gasification. The preliminary agenda can be found at www.gasification.org.
Hundreds from around the world attend the conference every year. Here’s a short video showing why: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vu91MS9mD5c
Conference sponsors include CB&I, Synthesis Energy Systems and Siemens Energy. Those wishing to attend may register at www.gasification.org.
The Gasification Technologies Council (GTC) promotes a better understanding of the role gasification can play in providing the power, chemical and refining industries with economically competitive and environmentally conscious technology options to produce electricity, fuels and chemicals and for converting waste and biomass into these same valuable products.
GTC members are involved in all aspects of developing, deploying, and using commercial gasification technologies. GTC members include plant owners, technology suppliers, engineering firms and equipment/service suppliers.
