OVERLAND PARK, Kan.

Freightview, a cloud-based freight management tool for small to midsized businesses, was selected by Supply & Demand Chain Executive as a recipient of an SDCE 100 Award for 2016. The SDCE 100 is an annual list of great supply chain projects that serve as a guide for executives who are looking for new opportunities to drive improvement in their own operations.

Freightview was recognized for radically simplifying freight management operations for its customer, BioZyme, Inc. As BioZyme grew, it needed a solution to more efficiently handle its 250-300 less-than-truckload (LTL) orders per month. Freightview enabled BioZyme to overhaul its shipping process, slashing the time it takes to quote, book, and track shipments and creating substantial cost savings. By using Freightview, the company saved an estimated total of 50 hours of shipment processing time per month, improved carrier discount rates by an average of 2-3 percent, and improved on-time delivery rates.

“With Freightview, we have a one-stop shop where we can price compare, organize and track our shipments,” said Chris Feiden, supply chain director at BioZyme. “The platform allows us to get more competitive quotes for our business and saves money for us and our customers. We’ve eliminated hours of unproductive work and actually increased our sales in the process.”

About Freightview
Freightview is the first-to-market online freight management software of its kind. It redefines small and medium-sized businesses’ relationship with shipping by streamlining quoting, booking, tracking and reporting. Employees ship freight in a fraction of the time, and managers gain control and visibility of shipping operations.

Freightview was developed in 2013 as a project of Freightquote, an online transportation broker. It launched to the public in April 2014 and spun off as a separate company that September. In January 2015, Freightview was acquired by global third party logistics provider C.H. Robinson.
