DSW Debuts At New York Fashion Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — DSW Inc. (NYSE: DSW) made its New York Fashion Week debut last night, sponsoring the Gen Art Fresh Faces in Fashion runway show, which took place at Pier 59 Studios.

Each of the designers in the Gen Art Fresh Faces in Fashion show featured their Spring 2016 collections with shoes from DSW. The three finalists Ada + Nick, House of Cannon by Annie Cannon-Brookes, and Daniel Silverstain selected from DSW’s vast in-store collections. Styles featured included DSW customer favorites: the white high top sneakers, steel toe work boots, and white platform sandals. In the DSW spirit of catering to their shoppers first, all styles on the runway will be available online and select retail locations across the country.

The Gen Art sponsorship is in the spirit of DSW’s current advertising campaign, which embraces authenticity by capturing individuals in their everyday lives. Starting with the launch of the spring campaign, fifteen talented photographers were tapped to travel across eight states where they photographed over two hundred people. Each person photographed has a story about what shoes mean to them and their story is meant to unfold in real time through DSW’s owned channels.
