CyrusOne Deploys Panduit Cooling Optimization Solution to Improve Reporting and Operational Efficiency

Deployment of the technology is expected to enhance operational transparency in operating conditions for CyrusOne customers while achieving increased operational efficiency through saving significant energy costs.

The deployment of the SynapSense Cooling Optimization solution by Panduit is completed in three phases. In the first phase, the wireless environmental monitoring is deployed. Next, Panduit Services, together with the CyrusOne team, uses Panduit advanced tools and metrics to optimize data center cooling and “balance” the airflow. In the final phase, the Active Control™ feature of SynapSoft™ Software automatically maintains efficient and cost-effective operating conditions by dynamically matching cooling to the varying equipment loads and conditions in the data center. As a result, operational reliability is enhanced while saving on energy costs is maximized.
