cr360, part of UL EHS Sustainability, today announced that it has won the Software Business of the Year Award at the 2016 Acquisition International Business Excellence Awards.
The prestigious awards were established to celebrate the outstanding performance and results achieved by leading lights across the corporate world, despite working within increasingly competitive markets.
cr360’s success reflects its growth and advanced technology. Since its founding in 2002, cr360 has seen its software adopted by over 200 global clients including McDonald’s, Nestle, CBRE, Philips and Heineken, who use it to accurately capture, manage, and report the sustainability, supply chain and environmental, health and safety (EHS) information needed to ensure compliance and drive performance across all business areas.
Recognising the strength of its technology and customer base, UL, a global leader in safety science, acquired cr360 in February 2016, providing worldwide scale and the resources to expand the company’s software into new markets.
“This latest accolade demonstrates our continued momentum and commitment to delivering innovative software that makes a real difference to our clients’ businesses,” said Richard Kirby, Product Director, UL EHS Sustainability. “It reflects the enormous effort made by our whole team across the globe, and shows why we are poised for even larger growth following the cr360 acquisition.”
Other recent honours for cr360 include winning the TWI Award for Technology Export at the Cambridge News Business Excellence Awards 2016, the Queen’s Award for its outstanding international growth as well as inclusion in the Sunday Times’ Hiscox Tech Track 100 league table of the UK’s fastest growing tech companies for 2014 and 2015.
