Coveris Welcomes Eric Grégoire, President Europe Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Food & Consumer

Coveris, a global leader in packaging and coatings solutions, is pleased to announce that Mr. Eric Grégoire will be joining the organization as President – Europe Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Food & Consumer Products, effective January 1, 2016. In his new role, Mr. Grégoire will lead the EMEA team in the development and implementation of their business plans and growth strategy.
Most recently serving as President of Europe and Africa for Birla Carbon (a $2b subsidiary of Aditya Birla Group), Mr. Grégoire’s distinguished career has included a variety of general management, business development and operational roles for some of the world’s most recognizable plastics and chemicals companies.He began his career with DuPont, where he spent 12 years progressing through various disciplines such as sales, engineering, production supervision, product management, country leadership, and industrial marketing. In 2004, Mr. Grégoire joined GE Plastics as General Manager of Western Europe. Following SABIC’s acquisition of GE Plastics, Mr. Grégoire relocated to Saudi Arabia and led the GE Plastics integration. In 2008, he joined United Technologies Corporation and moved to Finland as Managing director of Marioff, a global leader in the development of water mist fire protection technologies.
Mr. Grégoire earned a Master’s of Science in Applied Physics from Ecole Centrale Paris, France in 1992. He is currently based in Hanover, Germany, but will soon begin an evaluation of where best to establish his EMEA Food and Consumer Headquarters.
