Colt Defense LLC Announces the Addition of Two Key Members of Its Senior Management Team.

WEST HARTFORD, Conn.
Today, Colt announces the addition of two key members of its senior management team – Paul Spitale to the position of Senior Vice President, Commercial Programs and Kenneth Juergens to the position of Senior Vice President, Government & Military Programs. These two positions reflect a new, customer-centric design for sales and marketing at Colt.
Paul Spitale:
As the new head of Commercial Programs, Paul will be responsible for leading all aspects of the commercial strategy. This includes commercial program sales, marketing, product development, and licensing.
Paul brings a wealth of business experience and knowledge of consumer products to Colt. This expertise has been gained through several key senior leadership positions most recently as Vice President National Accounts at LG Electronics and Corporate Vice President Sales & Marketing at Newark Recycled Paperboard Solutions Co. In addition, he spent more than 25 years driving Sony Sales and Marketing efforts, as a Senior Vice President.
Paul has earned his MBA in Marketing from Rivier University and his BBA from Eastern Michigan University. Additionally, he also completed a Sr. Executive Program hosted by Columbia Graduate Business School in 2004. Paul is a lifelong hunter and avid shooter. He is also a board member of the Human Rights Committee that serves Youth Consultation Services of New Jersey.
Kenneth Juergens:
As the head of Government & Military Programs, Ken has responsibility for sales and marketing to U.S. and international government and military customers. In this position, Ken will leverage his diverse expertise gained in both the private and military sectors.
Ken has held previous private sector leadership positions as Group Vice President of Global Logistics & Development Solutions at DynCorp International responsible for over 26 international programs in 20 countries and as Vice President & General Manager for Joint Programs at Oshkosh Defense. At Oshkosh, He led the capture efforts and program execution for the multi-billion dollar M-ATV program. In addition, Ken served 25 years in the U.S. Army, commanding at all levels before retiring at the rank of Colonel, Ordnance Corps.
Ken has earned his Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy in addition to his Master of Arts National Strategy from the Naval War College and his Master of Business Administration (Honors) from Babson College. He is also a board member for the Patton Foundation.
