MONCTON, New Brunswick

RtTech Software is pleased to announce that it has been recognized as a preferred vendor by Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME) as part of its SMART Program which offers funding for Ontario Manufacturers. As one of only two SMART Program Preferred Vendors, RtTech and its software solutions, RtDuet for asset management and RtEMIS for energy management have been thoroughly reviewed by CME and pre-approved for funding.

In cooperation with the Government of Canada’s FedDev Ontario and FedNor Agencies, CME’s SMART Program provides funding for qualifying companies focused on improving productivity through the adaptation or adoption of advanced technologies. Projects will be eligible for funding of up to 35% of qualifying costs to a maximum contribution of $100,000.

As a SMART Program Preferred Vendor, RtTech has been recognized for knowledge, experience and reliability in industrial analytics. RtTech’s equipment monitoring and industrial energy management information system provide real-time data and analytics solutions for major cost centres such as productivity and energy management. RtTech Software is also able to assist prospective funding recipients through the application process and offers a discount for CME members.

“Being a SMART Program Preferred Vendor is a great opportunity for us to work directly with Ontario manufacturers. By improving their productivity with industrial analytics, these small to medium-sized manufacturing companies can level the playing field with larger global manufacturers,” says Pablo Asiron, CEO of RtTech Software.

RtTech and CME are currently collaborating to deliver a workshop for Ontario manufacturers on advancements in Smart Manufacturing technology, the advantages of cloud computing, along with funding opportunities through CME’s Smart Program. The workshop is expected to be scheduled for early October, 2015.
