GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo.

From mobile phones and tablets to medical devices and power tools, portable electronics are an integral part of everyday life. Improving the consumer experience with longer battery life and convenient charging can give battery manufacturers and OEMs a competitive edge. Join industry leaders at Battery Power 2015, August 5th-6th, in Denver, Colo., to discuss the best practices to improve your power needs.

The conference is designed for OEM design engineers and system engineers involved in battery powered products and systems. Conference topics will include new battery designs, improving power management, predicting battery life, regulations and standards, safety and transportation, battery authentication, charging technology, emerging chemistries and market trends.

“With the continued expansion of power-hungry electronic devices, it is more important than ever for design engineers to develop products that live up to consumer expectations,” said Shannon Given, program manager of Battery Power 2015. “Design engineers are seeking ways to improve battery life while reducing the battery footprint. Battery Power 2015 addresses these topics and others impacting mobile devices.”

Industry-leading companies presenting at Battery Power 2015 include SGS North America, Inc., Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., ICCN+Palladium, Frost & Sullivan, Exponent, The Wireless Power Consortium, Qualcomm and Microchip Technology, Inc.

Attendees will have the opportunity to attend pre-conference workshops on August 4th, including one on designing Li-Ion batteries and another on new regulation on transporting Li-Ion batteries.

The interactive exhibit hall will provide opportunities to discuss your power needs with battery manufacturers, charger manufacturers, materials and manufacturing equipment providers, testing services & systems providers, as well as an array of component providers. Exhibitors and sponsors include iTech, Greatbatch, Epec, Maccor, IATA and LabelMaster.

Battery Power 2015 will be co-located with the Advancements in Thermal Management conference. Attendees will have full access to both programs.
