Avebe to Deploy Zycus Spend Analysis

Zycus, the leading source-to-pay procurement solutions provider, announced today that Avebe will soon begin a full implementation of its Spend Analysis Solution.

Headquartered in The Netherlands, Avebe is a leading producer of potato starch derivatives, which have many end-use applications in foods, feeds, building materials, adhesives, papers, textiles, and specialty applications in water purification, mining and other industrial processes.

Avebe selected Zycus Spend Analysis following a proof-of-concept test in which Zycus auto-classified and analyzed a comprehensive two-month sample of the company’s actual spending transactions, spanning four languages – Dutch, German, Swedish and English. “With only two months worth of our data, Zycus’ expert analysts were able to find multiple opportunities to resolve price-point variances, to standardize and optimize our payment schedules, and so forth. That got our attention,” says DeKolf. “We were also attracted to the solution’s capabilities for evaluating, prioritizing and otherwise managing a pipeline of actionable savings and other performance-improvement opportunities. The user interface is easy to use and the Zycus team has been exceptionally responsive in supporting us.”
