Atwell Acquires Arizona Office of Morrison-Maierle, Inc.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich.

In response to expanding operations in the western United States, Atwell, LLC, a consulting, engineering and construction services firm, has acquired the assets of the Tempe, Arizona based survey office of Morrison-Maierle, Inc. Jim Spring, former vice president of survey operations in Arizona and board member for Morrison-Maierle, will lead the expanded Atwell team and provide land surveying services to the land development, power and energy, oil and gas, mining and heavy construction markets throughout the region.

With a 40-year career in the surveying profession, Spring brings tremendous technical and industry leadership to the firm, as well as a diverse project portfolio ranging across many markets including military and transportation, residential and commercial development and municipal facilities. Prior to joining Atwell, Spring has overseen boundary and topographic surveys, control network projects, utility coordination, and construction services and staking involving highways, bridges, high-rise structures and subdivision/condo plats.

This is the second acquisition Atwell has announced since the beginning of the year.
