Arkansas OSHA Recognized Cintas Location in Fort Smith with Highest Safety Designation

FORT SMITH, Ark.

Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) today announced that its manufacturing location in Fort Smith, AR. received Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star certification from Arkansas Occupational Safety and Health Administration (IOSHA). VPP Star is OSHA’s highest recognition for the practice of and commitment to exemplary occupational safety and health.

The Fort Smith location, which employs 50 people, is the 29th Cintas facility in the United States to receive VPP Star designation since 2011. The location began its journey toward VPP designation a few years ago and has been injury free for 5 years. The designation required monthly, rigorous audits and the close collaboration between management and employee-partners to achieve full engagement to continuous safety improvement.
